Three young men arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault after attacking mystery man in Birmingham

Officers published a photo of the alleged victim after passers-by reported the incident yesterday (Friday).

West Midlands Police said: “We were alerted to a man being assaulted and robbed in Smallbrook Queensway at around 2am yesterday (November 29). According to witnesses, the victim, believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, had left the area and was unsteady on his feet.

“As part of our investigation, we have arrested three youths on suspicion of robbery, but despite extensive inquiries we are still yet to locate the victim. We want to determine how seriously they are injured and whether they require hospital treatment.”
