Rangers and police have arrested a gang involved in street crimes in the Hub River Road area of ​​Karachi

Sindh Rangers and Police conducted a joint operation based on information regarding the presence of Faheem and his associate Kamran, also known as Kammo, at Sardar Muzaffar village on Hub River Road and arrested the suspects.

According to the spokesman, the arrested suspects are part of a 15-member gang involved in multiple robberies, street crimes and shooting at mobile law enforcement units, Express News reports.

One of the suspects, Mohammad Naeem, had already been arrested during the robbery in possession of illegal weapons and a stolen motorcycle. However, Faheem and Kamran managed to escape by this time.

During the course of investigation, the suspects confessed to committing several robberies, street crimes, looting and motorcycle theft in various parts of the city including Hub River Road, Ittehad Town, Northern Bypass, Faqir Colony, Baldia Town and Afridi Colony.

They also admitted to killing and injuring many people when they resisted.

The suspects are common criminals against whom many cases have been pending; they were arrested and imprisoned several times. Raids are being carried out to arrest their remaining associates. The arrested suspects were handed over to the police for further legal action.

Previous surveillance footage has appeared online, including: robbery in which Rs 5.5 million was stolen from the owner of an Easypaisa store in Karachi’s Quaidabad area.

The incident took place on November 25 in the Quaidabad police station area.

The video shows two armed robbers committing the robbery in just 5 seconds. One of the thieves can be seen threatening the store owner with a gun, while the other grabs a bag filled with cash.
