The two victims were Keith Miller, 40, and Jacob Pluim, 35.

On November 28, around 1 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting at a home at 2600 West 2250 North.

Upon arrival, officers found Miller and Pluim inside suffering from gunshot wounds. Although police did not reveal who the deceased was in the apartment, one of them died at the residence, while the other was flown to hospital and later pronounced dead.

“There is no ongoing threat to the public at this time,” Clinton police said in a statement. “We express our sincere condolences to the families of those involved or affected by this event. All parties are cooperating with the ongoing investigation.”
